For school districts
A second source for substitute coverage
A lawful second source that works through your purchasing office's process — quotes, competitive contracting, co-op or bid — and follows your state's purchasing rules.
When your main substitute arrangement cannot fill a classroom, the gap lands on a principal at 6:45 in the morning. A second source gives your buildings a backup bench of cleared substitutes, without asking your purchasing office to work any differently.
EverTeach Solutions starts from your process, not ours. Your business administrator tells us how your district buys, and we respond through that route.
How it works
Start with your purchasing office
Tell us whether your district buys through quotes, competitive contracting, a co-op or a bid. We respond through that process and follow your state's purchasing rules.
One agreement with your board
We contract with your board under its own rules, and your business administrator or purchasing agent confirms the route before anything is signed.
A bench that works beside your current one
Your existing arrangement continues. We cover the classrooms it cannot fill, so absences are covered by a cleared substitute instead of a doubled-up class.
Post an absence, see who is coming
Your office posts the need, matched substitutes accept it, and you see who is on the way and when they have checked in.
What we provide
Screened before placement
Every substitute goes through criminal history and sex offender registry checks, education verification and reference checks, plus fingerprint-based clearance where your state requires it.
Employed by us, not by your school
EverTeach Solutions is the employer of record. Substitutes are W-2 employees of EverTeach Solutions, and we handle payroll, tax withholding, workers' compensation and employment-related compliance.
One place for the paperwork
Requests, confirmations, check-ins and invoices run through one platform, so your office is not chasing emails and spreadsheets.
