Upload a document

Coming soon
By the end you can
  • Know exactly which documents EverTeach requires, and that they cover every partner district
  • Photograph or scan a document so it is accepted on the first review
  • Understand what happens after you upload, and how long each step takes

Walkthrough

1
Open your documents
Substitute dashboard → Documents

Every required item, its status, and what is still outstanding.

2
Read the guide for the document you are about to upload

Each document type has its own guide with an example of what a correct one looks like. Two minutes here saves a rejection cycle of several days.

3
Capture the whole document, flat and in daylight

All four corners in frame, no fingers over the text, no flash glare across the important line. A photo taken flat on a table in daylight beats a scan taken at night.

4
Check it is readable before you submit

Open the file and read the name, the date and any ID or result line. If you cannot read it on your own phone, a reviewer cannot read it either.

5
Watch for a correction notice
Sidebar → Notifications

If something is wrong you will get a notice explaining exactly what to fix. Fix and re-upload that one item — you do not restart anything.

Worth knowing
  • Name your files plainly before uploading — it helps you spot the wrong file before you send it.
  • Keep a folder on your phone with your current documents. You will not re-upload them for each district, but you will need fresh copies when one expires.
What goes wrong
  • Never crop a document down to "just the part that matters". A cropped document is usually rejected.
  • Do not upload a screenshot of a screen showing more than the document itself — those often contain your full identity details and will be sent back.
  • An expired document uploaded as current is the slowest possible path. Check the expiry date first.
